Heidi Garcia

Heidi Garcia has been an experienced Pilates Instructor since 2003 working in the health wellness and fitness industry. Originally from San Jose, Ca Heidi started twirling the baton at 7 years old. In her 7 years in baton, she competed at the National level winning awards and growing her love for dance. In High School she went to a Performing Arts magnet where she sang, acted and was on the Dance Team. Her dance team, The Lincoln Convertibles, performed throughout the Bay Area for shows such as half time shows for the World Cup, NFL and NHL private events. In her senior year she awarded her National Title, Miss Supper Dancer 1997. From there she went on to study dance and kinesiology at UC Irvine, where she was introduced to Pilates. While in Irvine, she performed for the Laguna Beach Arts Walk as well as UC Irvine's ballet, modern and jazz shows. Durning her college years she also danced at the Philadelphia of the Arts and at the Dance School of Alvin Ailey.

While at UC Irvine, in 1999 Heidi was introduced to Fletcher Pilates taught by, Diane Diefenderfer. Her first 3hr of Pilates was the most difficult for her body, but since Diane Diefenderfer was also her ballet teacher and knew, she would get ask why she dropped out of the class, she decided to stay and that was the best decision she ever made for her body. Heidi's low back pain finally went away, which started at age 15! Her dancing became stronger and movement came with more ease. 

After graduating with a BA in Dancein 2001, Heidi went on to teaching dance and performing with Bay Area modern dance companies, such as PUSH of San Fransico. She went on to getting her Pilates Certification with ITT Pilates (Intergraded Teacher Training). There she studied and learned from Jean Sullivan, Madelline Black, Joerg Chabowski, and Debra Schubert. She has also continued her Pilates practice with Amy Havens. 

Heidi opened her first studio in San Jose, Ca in 2005 with a borrowed reformer in a client's back house and from there has had store fronts, to working for a Sports Physical Therapy company, to Cisco fitness center and Club Pilates to a home studio where she has found the balance of wife, mother, homemaker, business owner and trainer. 


Heidi has worked with a wide range of people and skills from either take her client into the next level of performance in their athletic performance or rehab post birth, injury or surgery.


She is married to Peter and together they have three children. She currently lives and works in Wenatchee, Washington.


Her services include mat classes for all skill levels, as well as osteoarthritis-safe classes. She also offers personal and online sessions designed for each individual’s physical abilities and fitness goals.
